The breath taking new 2017 Porsche Panamera’s world premiere was held at Berlin. Leaving no stone upturned to provide a classy and productive look, Porsche has been redesigned juxtaposing a sports car and a luxury sedan.
Better than its predecessor, the new second generation Porsche will be equipped with a 4 litre twin-turbo V8 engine providing 550 horsepower and 567 lb-ft of torque which will help the vehicle getting a maximum speed of 190 mph. Talking about the appearance, Panamera is more attractive than the first generation Porsche.
The outdated physical buttons are being faded out, 2017 Porsche being the first vehicle from German automaker to implement it. Touch-sensitive controls operates the car from front as well as rear. A new electromechanical power steering system is likely to enhance ride quality. Adaptive air suspension with new three-chamber technology comes handy with the other advanced equipment’s.
Collating the features of Porsche and its predecessor, strengths are restored and weaknesses are omitted from the second generation. Distinctive character is said to be preserved. Not to forget about new eight speed dual clutch transmission which are 16 percent more fuel efficient.
Three chamber air suspension, rear axle steering and the branded electronic 4D Chassis management system are few flabbergasted features for comfy riding. A future oriented display, control concept configurable LED screens are some of its impressive features.
Scheduled to go on sale in January, 2017, Porsche Panamera sedan has yet to release any information regarding a new plug-in hybrid variant for the second generation model.
