WinSCP (Windows Secure Copy) is an open source SecureFTP patron for windows It allows secure file transfers between the client’s local computer and the remote server. Basically its the software to transfer file from window machine to linux  machine. For the establishment of a secure connection through WinSCP the SSH support  must be enabled.
