Jaguar, known for its sedans is going to launch F-Pace , a compact luxury crossover SUV built by Jaguar in crossover SUV class for the first time. F-Pace is going to be launched in India today after a long wait. Pricing of F-Pace is Rs. 68.4 lakh for Pure variant , Rs. 74.5 lakh for Prestige variant, Rs. 1.02 crore for R-Sport variant and Rs. 1.12 crore for the First edition.
Engine – Jaguar F-Pace has a choice of two diesel engines. Pure and Prestige trim levels have 2.0-litre 4 cylinder turbo diesel unit which produces 177 BHP of power and has a peak torque of 430 Nm. R-Sport and First Edition trim levels have 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged diesel engine producing 296 BHP of power with 700 Nm of peak torque.
Transmission – Transmission is carried out by an 8-speed automatic transmission which is attached to an All Wheel Drive (AWD) system in all the variants.
Features – Some of F-Pace’s features are Activity Key and Torque Vectoring with Powered and Gesture Tailgate. F-Pace has 12.3-inch display with 10.2-inch in Control Touch Pro Navigation infotainment system.
Luxurious – Luxurious features of Jaguar F-Pace are sliding panoramic sunroof, 380W Meridian Sound System, red brake calipers, illuminated metal tread plates with configurable interior mood lighting.
Exteriors – SUV’s bonnet has LED projector headlights, LED daytime running lights and Jaguar sign while there are bulging wheel arches with massive 20-inch alloy wheels on the sides. Rear section has tail-gate mounted spoiler, split LED taillights and rear bumper mounted twin exhaust system.
Dimensions – Jaguar F-Pace measures 4,731 mm in length, 2,175 mm in width, 1,651 mm in height and has an extra long wheelbase of 2,874 mm.
Platform – Jaguar F-Pace has Lightweight Aluminium Architecture (LAA) which provides superior agility, performance, refinement and good fuel efficiency.
Safety Features – Safety Features include 6 air-bags, dual stage air-bags, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), traction control system, Surround Camera System, Trailer Stability Assist and Dynamic Stable Control (DSC) etc.
Competition – Jaguar F-Pace will compete in Indian market against Mercedes Benz GLE, Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Porsche Macan.
